Her Angel

It’s another night
And she’s walking through hell.
Screams of the demons can be heard from all around
And no hope can be found.
Her soul, it aches
She doesn’t know what to do
Tears fall down her pretty little face
As her body shakes
“Save me” she whispers.
Her love appears in the midst of all this
He presses his lips upon hers
And gives her a kiss.

In a concerned voice he said:
“What’s wrong?”
‘They’ve been screaming all night…”
He looked into her eyes
He knew she was frightened.
“It’s worse this time..”
“Breathe, everything will be fine.”
She sighed and quietly said:
I want to shed crimson red…
“Please don’t, love.”
“I can’t. I lost what harms me.”
He put his arms around her and said:
“You haven’t lost what heals you
I‘m your angel, and I‘ll do what I have to...”
“--In order to make me safe. I know..“

She let out a smile and said:

You've always wanted to be a hero.
So, what would you say if I said you're mine?
What would you say,
if I told you that you save me time after time?
You've always wanted to be able to fly.
You can't see it, but you do.
You fly through my mind, and my soul.
And patch up whatever holes.
You’re like an angel.
My guardian.. My protector..
That won’t leave my side.
That makes me believe everything will be okay
Even though the skies are gray.
It’s okay…
It’s okay……….
As long as I have you..
I can make it through another day…
So, please don’t walk away..
Because I love you.

He smiled and said:
“I love you too.
And I’ll do anything, but leave you.”
The church bells rang
And nature sang
As he grew his wings.
He took her into his arms
And flew away, into the starry sky..
She looked down, and held onto him tight
"Never fear. We're getting out of here!"

We will always be

Did you see her tonight outside the church?
She was spinning in her black dress.
Did you see the chaos in her eyes?
She was royal mess.
It’s because of the love which she hides.
It causes bitterness inside.

It’s because everything she loves
Gets taken away.
She’s waiting for a day where she can love
And not get hurt.

Mascara ran through her tears
People were looking at her.
She said:
“There‘s nothing to see here..
Keep moving on..”
And she swallowed her pain.
The skies cracked, and down poured rain.
She said to herself
“I‘m running away”
In the shadows she heard a soft voice.
“My love… don‘t..”
“Come with me.”
“My love, don’t you see?
The chain between us is far too strong.
It can’t be snapped easily..”
His voice began to fade.
Please don‘t leave. I need you.
“I can‘t stay..
But, I can promise I‘m just a call away.”

Her eyes were two crystal blue pools.
He saw his reflection in her wet eyes

“Don’t cry for me.
In time we will be reunited.
I want you to live for the future.
Think of the beauty there will be and smile.”
“For you, I’ll make sure everyday I live is worthwhile.”
He came out of the shadows.
Took her into his arms,
and danced to the sound of Mother nature.
They danced outside the church
As the full moon shined upon the stained glass


“Will you kiss me, dear?”
He paused and looked at her.
“What do you fear?”
“I’m afraid I’ve fallen in love
With an angel. ”
He smiled and kissed her.


“I’m afraid we’ll always be
So, lend me your hand.”
“You finally understand.
It doesn’t matter if I’m here, or there.
We will always be…”

A cold breeze kissed her face..
And she hung her head down low.
“Hush. The angels are listening.
You know how they feel..”

“Do they not know what we feel is real?!”

“We‘re not supposed to feel this way.
Why do you think they sent you away?
“It doesn’t matter. I’m here for now.”
“I don’t know why…”
“It’s simple. I love you.”
“I love you too..”
“We‘ll get through this..”
“And we will always be....”
