He's listening to what she has to say
with a smile, she says: "we're having a baby"
Their dreams have come true
Tears fill their eyes, "We prayed for you".

They see your face on the screen
"You're beautiful, love.
You were sent from Heaven above."

Their souls are full of joy
Knowing they'll soon hold
Either a girl or a boy

Days fly by
He wraps hims arms around her waist
as she picks out clothes of blue, and clothes of lace.

He says:
"Hello baby, I'm your daddy.
I bet you can't wait to meet mommy and me."
She smiles, and places her hands over his hands
and they begin to make plans.

Shades of pink and blue...
This is all too good to be true.
A girl
with curls...
or perhaps toys
 for a boy..

"Doctor, we meet again.
Tell me the date, tell me when."
Movements are felt,
and the beautiful heartbeat is heard,
making them melt.

The mark of love has been made.
"Hello to our angel
9 months passed,
"you're already growing so fast...
But we will always love you."
